Flange of Packaging

For packing of carbon steel flanges with painting,we would use the bubble wrap to protect the painting.For flanges without painting or oiled with long-term shipment,we would suggest client to use the anti-tarnish paper and plastic bag to prevent the rust.

For packing of alloy steel and stainless steel flanges,we would be more careful for the packing.The sealing face should be protected like below.

For stainless steel fittings,the caps for the ends and plastic wrap or bag would be used for every piece to protect the ends.

Flange Transport

When transporting the flange, pay attention to the protection of wooden strips, straw or plastic foam. The wrapping should be firm. Each flange should be packaged separately. The products of 3 meters or more should pay attention to the transportation when ordering the contract. The height limit of a highway or a general viaduct is 4.5 meters. The flange itself is 3 meters in diameter, and then the height of the truck itself is about 1.5 meters, it will not pass. If transported horizontally, the 3m large flange will also exceed the width of the carriageway, so it is a problem whether it is transported vertically or horizontally. If the problem of distribution is not solved well, it will cause certain difficulties in transportation. Extra large flanges are to be completed by a segmented production process. Then splicing to the construction site.
